If you read manhwa, you know

Three problems we’ve all lived with.

You found a series you love. The story is everything you wanted. Then you hit chapter 47 and realize what reading manhwa actually looks like.

01

The waiting game.

Solo Leveling. Omniscient Reader. The Beginning After The End. Chapter drops Sunday. English translation? Maybe Tuesday. Maybe never. Meanwhile, you doom-scroll Reddit for spoilers.

02

Garbage MTL.

Most aggregators run cheap machine translation that turns dialogue into „his face becoming red with the angering.” Reading manhwa shouldn’t feel like decoding a captcha.

03

Site whiplash.

Different reader on every site. Different MTL quality. Different chapter order. Different ad infestation. One series, four tabs, zero fun.

How it works

Three clicks. No setup.

No API keys. No billing dashboards. No technical ceremony. Install, sign in, read.

STEP 01

Install.

Add Manhwave to Chrome. Sign in with magic link — no password, no friction. 30 seconds, done.

STEP 02

Read.

Open any manga or manhwa site. Hit AltT on a chapter. Manhwave reads it, translates it, overlays it.

STEP 03

Done.

Translations appear directly on the page. Re-reads are instant — every translation cached. No double charges, ever.

Features

Built by readers, for readers.

Every feature exists because we got tired of the workaround. No filler.

Tuned for manga

Most translators treat manga like generic web text. Manhwave is built for comics — speech bubbles, sound effects, character voice. Translations that actually sound like the story.

Works everywhere

Mangadex, Webtoon, Bato, Asura, MangaPark, MangaSee, ReaperScans, Tappytoon and 50+ more. If it shows manga, Manhwave reads it.

26 languages

English, Polish, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Turkish — read in whatever feels like home.

Instant re-reads

Manhwave caches every translation. Going back to chapter 1? Already translated. Re-binge for free.

No keys, no setup

Other tools want you to sign up for Google Cloud, get API keys, mess with billing. Manhwave: install, sign in, read.

Privacy first

We don’t sell your reading history. We don’t profile you. We translate text — that’s it.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Still curious? Email contact@manhwave.com.

Does it work on phones?
Manhwave is a Chrome desktop extension for now. Mobile support is on the roadmap — Unlimited subscribers will get it first.
How is this different from Google Translate?
Google Translate treats manga like generic web text — and it shows. Manhwave is built specifically for comics: it understands speech bubbles, sound effects, character voice, and narrative tone. The result reads like the manga was written that way, not like a machine dump.
Is this legal?
Manhwave doesn’t host or distribute manga — it just translates text on pages you’re already reading. We’re a translator, not a reader. Always support official releases when they’re available in your language.
What languages do you support?
26 target languages including English, Polish, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Turkish, Japanese, and more. We translate from any source language the AI can read — Korean, Japanese, Chinese, English, you name it.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Click „Cancel” in your account dashboard. No questions, no friction, no win-back emails. You’ll keep access until the end of your billing period.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don’t sell reading history, we don’t run ads, we don’t build user profiles. Subscriptions pay for the product — that’s the whole business model.
Why pay if free MTL exists?
Because free MTL is bad and you know it. Manhwave costs the price of one coffee per month and translates with AI that costs us real money to run. If you read more than 3 chapters a week, you’ve already wasted more time decoding bad MTL than $4.99 is worth.
